Dear Editor
Profound disappointment set in upon reading of our Mayor Corrigan's guilty verdict for distracted driving. A simple admission to the charge and payment of the fine would have been a much more acceptable approach. Such a desperate and far-fetched defence has only served to lower his esteem and force citizens of Burnaby to ponder their mayor's mettle.
