Modest complaints

Dear Editor I sympathize somewhat with Mr. Lutz’s concerns of rising taxes in Burnaby, and even (the ubiquitous) Rick McGowan makes points about the city’s rapidly changing skyline, along with attendant affordability rates.

Dear Editor

I sympathize somewhat with Mr. Lutz’s concerns of rising taxes in Burnaby, and even (the ubiquitous) Rick McGowan makes points about the city’s rapidly changing skyline, along with attendant affordability rates.

My own complaints are far more modest, especially considering the city’s improving financial situation. These concern minor amenities, such as a return of the bleachers at the last remaining ball diamond in Central Park.

I would also request that there be more traffic enforcement along, the Kingsway corridor. I have never seen so many illegal u-turns at controlled intersections in my life, (and it is lengthy) nor drivers who think that a stop sign applies only to those whose mother-tongue is English.
