Dear Editor:
I have recently had occasion to visit the Burnaby Hospital emergency ward.
There is a sign there that states "Patients please do not eat or drink until the doctor has seen you."
This allows you to pay $4.50 per hour for parking while you starve to death.
Outrageous. Seriously, no one should have to pay to park at a hospital, no one other than the staff really wants to be there.
