Dear Editor
Ode to Stephen (or Requiem)
When one becomes 90 years old,
It is time to behave I am told,
To sit in a chair,
I just couldn’t bear,
The very idea leaves me cold!
So I promise I’ll do what I can
To right a few wrongs is my plan
I’ll take aim at Harper
We need someone sharper
He must go and the rest of his clan.
His ego is a real disaster
His MPs know he’s the master
They’re ever so meek
And don’t dare speak
So they’ll get to the Senate much faster.
Come October we’re going to get even
We’ll vote to dispose of Stephen
It’s time for a change
So this we’ll arrange
So we can live happily ever after.
