Dear Editor:
On Saturday I was one of thousands of Canadians across the country who protested outside Conservative MPs' constituency offices. What's all the fuss about? The federal government has packed a sweeping range of changes into their omnibus budget bill, C-38, many of them having nothing to do with finance.
Stephen Harper's omnibus is travelling way above the speed limit, so there's no time for democratic debate or committee oversight of these blows to environmental protection, employment equity and so much more.
We need 13 Conservative MPs to say, "Stop the bus! I want to get off!"
