I am writing in response to Kathy Corrigan’s recent biased letter. After cutting through all the innuendo and political gamesmanship, the fact is that Burnaby North MLA Richard Lee has obtained the required funding from Fraser Health Authority to reopen the seventh operating room at Burnaby Hospital.
For this I thank and commend him. Reopening the seventh operating room will allow many more operations to be performed at the hospital and will substantially reduce wait times, which will benefit the people of Burnaby.
