Dear Editor:
Shame, shame on the United Way for cutting back the seniors' programs.
I feel this is a slap in the face for the very generation that supported the United Way program for so many years!
Now you're asking for more of my money? Good luck with that. I'll save my money as I won't be counting on any support from the United Way.
Seniors have given so much to us all in so many ways, and this is the thanks they get. Wow, so who's ungrateful now!
Perhaps United Way should make cutbacks on their own internal programs.
Hey, United Way staff, charity begins at home. I mean your corporate home!
