Dear Editor:
It is time for the City of Burnaby to stop spending and taxing.
I cannot manage my family budget this way because I do not have unlimited resources - neither does the city.
The taxpayers are tired. The city may say we have important projects that must be done, well, manage with what you have. Most of us do.
Management is a big issue. Someone brought to my attention that some city services are given to people for free, people with little or no income. Those same people have high income somewhere else, and possibly there are other loopholes that need to be plugged.
That is where prudent management comes in.
