Dear Editor:
I have two young girls (four and seven years old), and I am lucky enough to be flexible enough with work to be able to drop my daughters off 20 km away every day during the school strike.
Most of my neighbours are not able to be so flexible and are under tremendous stress during this strike.
In order to get both sides to negotiate, I challenge all MLAs to forgo their salaries during the strike. At least this would put both the teachers and the government in the same boat.
