Teachers suffer from 'entitlement'

Dear Editor: So teacher Donna Morgan is "affronted" that the Teachers Act would set professional standards for teachers and their professional development.

Dear Editor:

So teacher Donna Morgan is "affronted" that the Teachers Act would set professional standards for teachers and their professional development. My employer rightly approves (or "controls," according to Morgan) mine based on the contribution to the company's bottom line.  And it's done on my own time - no Pro-D days for me. No wonder the public balks at B.C. teachers' attitude of entitlement.
