Water-saving tips go a flush too far

Dear Editor First, let me confess that, in the past, I was amongst those who have abused the usage of water by trying to keep my garden hydrated. With that said, I could not have agreed more with you on the subject of water consumption.

Dear Editor

First, let me confess that, in the past, I was amongst those who have abused the usage of water by trying to keep my garden hydrated.

With that said, I could not have agreed more with you on the subject of water consumption. In fact, thank you for reminding  all of us of the importance and seriousness of trying to save our water. Thank you for outlining some of the steps we, as individuals, can take in helping to make it happen.

However, I have to admit that you did lose me with one of the tips stated in your article, “don’t flush the toilet every time you use it.” Even though I understand which of those times you’re referring to (or do I?), I’m still left with ... really? Do we have to go that far?

In my opinion,  if we were to commit to all of your other advice, there shouldn’t be any problems in flushing.
