Who's the true 'frankenfish'?

Dear Editor:

Leave it to two non-native species, that being myself and the Burnaby snakehead, to reveal the true frankenfish of Burnaby.

The creature that ought to be left high and dry, lungs without air, is the leadership of the City of Burnaby. This creature is very bad for this society and is a mindless predator. It is often seen rejecting intelligent ideas and chewing up money our society desperately needs.

Instead of easily electro stunning the fish in his favourite spot, or letting fishermen have two weeks free shot at him, or having a simple money-raising fishing derby, or using gill nets properly (the city did a worthless job of it), the city is going to kill all the fish and other creatures and will spend untold thousands on this project.

Why are people complaining about fishermen but not complaining that the city is killing everything instead? Why spend the money on a vet to euthanize turtles?

These people are totally perverting intelligence and are wasting money. There are so many brilliant ideas for getting rid of this fish, if the city would quit thinking they know it all and would let people tell them what works.

If the pond must be drained, then at least let people take the fish. The koi could even be sold for funding the restocking.
