Why not defer your taxes?

Re: Tax hikes 'outrageous,' Letters to the editor, Burnaby NOW, June 1.

Your correspondent Frank DiCesare laments the plight of seniors due to the increase in property tax. For those who are unaware of it, we seniors are able to defer our property tax until such time as the property is sold. I believe also that the increase in value of property more than offsets any increase in tax.
