Jagmeet Singh is a climate change hypocrite.
Singh's position of supporting LNG Canada … makes it impossible for British Columbia and, ultimately, Canada to make its Paris targets.
Singh, many times (including during the recent Burnaby South byelection debates) since becoming the federal NDP leader has stated the importance of meeting the Paris targets and even demanded an emergency debate in the House of Commons.
What I can't stomach is the leader of a federal party who wants to become prime minister of Canada and, at the same time, knows that the dangers of not meeting B.C.’s/Canada Paris Climate Targets and still persists in supporting a major fossil fuel project that prevents these climate targets from being met.
If that's not being a climate change hypocrite, then what is?
