Burnaby teachers set poor community example.
As I watch over two dozen local teachers parade around my Burnaby neighbourhood in their SUVs and cars for the second or third week now, I believe this is the height of hypocrisy by them and just setting the wrong example during this COVID-19 shutdown of schools.
Surely these teachers are saying "Hi” to their students online as they set coursework or carry out instruction.
So why do they feel the need to flout unnecessary travel requirements, pollute the environment and generally make a nuisance of themselves, when they are often the ones preaching about (and inciting their students) about environmental stewardship and global warming?
Let me think, must be a case of "Do what I say, not what I do!" Hypocrites.
