Editor: It doesn’t look good to evict Indigenous people from unceded Tsleil-Waututh territory on Burnaby Mountain on Nelson Mandela Day. It wouldn’t look good any day.
In Burnaby, we need to be united against the tank farm and the huge pipeline expansion which is destroying parkland and which will endanger the safety of all of us – our children and grandchildren. Kudos to all of those who are working to protect the air, land and water.
Eviction of protectors seems terrifyingly like apartheid in Canada.
