Having food trucks at the (Burnaby Roots + Blues Festival) is great. Not having the choice to bring snacks for throughout the day is not great.
It’s an all-day event. With two adults and three kids, it gets pricey. The charm of this event was being able to picnic on the sloping grass, listening to music, looking out over the lake. For 18 years outside food was welcome. If I had known the new policy, I would not have bought tickets. We won’t be going again. Very disappointed.
