Editor: An open letter to the Minister of Education: Today, I tried to register both my children (for summer school programs) who attend independent schools in Burnaby. They attend John Knox Christian.

Reaction has been rolling in since yesterday’s news that a Burnaby teacher had tested positive for COVID-19. The teacher is believed to work at Burnaby Mountain Secondary School.

Do you smell that? It’s steak grilling once again at Burnaby’s best steakhouse – Atlas Steak + Fish. Things were humming along for Atlas, which was nominated for the title of Best Steakhouse by Vancouver Magazine.

The Editor: I received some sad news over the weekend that my friend Greg Winlaw passed away earlier this month. I'm upset with myself because the last time I saw Greg was three years ago on his 53rd birthday.
