Editor: After four years of living in the Brentwood area of Burnaby, my landlord has notified me that I am being evicted. He needed the property for personal use.

This past week while at one of my part-time jobs in Burnaby, I have had several people inquire over the phone and in-person as to if we sell hand sanitizers. I work at a bookstore.

The ticket is in the mail. That ticket is if you sped through one of the Burnaby intersections that has had its red light camera altered to register speed. Fifteen out of the 35 cameras that will be upgraded in B.C.

For years now, ICBC’s financial “dumpster fire” has been a slow burn for the province, scorching its bottom line. Despite skyrocketing premiums, the Crown corporation has continued to bleed money.

Editor: After seeing that protesters and illegal blockades are being removed from the Coastal GasLink site, (I say) it is about time. Protestors and tiny houses, get ready for the D10 cat and police. It is about time to stop this nonsense.

A note has been posted inside the elevator of my Burnaby apartment building. It’s from our strata informing us that the building has been violated. Turns out, it appears to be an inside job.

A weird thing happened last Saturday – I went to Metropolis at Metrotown in Burnaby and found a parking spot right by a door to the mall.
