Ticket holders for both big lotteries – including me! – struck out this weekend on the mega-jackpots.

This blog has expended a lot of words about dumpers taking a giant, uh, dump all over our beautiful city. Aside from the sight pollution, dumpers have ended up putting the lives of people and bears in danger.

Here’s a formula to ponder: gravy + mushy peas + mashed potato + an Aussie meat pie. Burnaby. What does that equal? A whole lot of deliciousness. Oh, you can add one more thing to that equation – the neighbourhood of Burnaby Heights.

I’m a big believer in trying to be funny on social media. I like to make people laugh, as long as I’m not doing harm to anyone who is marginalized.

Editor: Something needs to done regarding the abuse of road and shared pathways by cyclists. Obviously it is not the majority of cyclists, but it is a fairly large minority of them.
