We are relieved to see that a recent survey says that nine in 10 Canadians agree with distracted driving laws. But we’re really excited to see that two-thirds of Canadians in that same survey support distracted walking legislation.

It would be understandable if most people are sick and tired of politics this fall. One thing we won’t hear much of provincially, however, is the actual business of government being conducted.

Does local journalism matter? You bet it does. Community newspapers employ thousands of journalists across our great country.
