Experience an elevated standard of living in one of Burnaby’s most historic neighbourhoods

Burnaby Heights welcomes new collection of beautiful, incomparable homes

In a city of constant and often overwhelming change, Burnaby Heights is an oasis of tradition and community.

This is the neighbourhood where staff at The Valley Bakery have been passing fresh bread, cakes and cookies across the counter since 1979. And where Anton’s Pasta has been delivering heaping plates of fettuccine and lasagna to its tables for more than 35 years. This is where families from near and far come to swim at Eileen Dailly Leisure Pool & Fitness Centre and let their four-legged friends run free at Confederation Dog Park.

It was with all of this—and more—in mind that SIENA - the heights was conceived.

A new collection of 38 spacious one-bedroom + den, and two-bedroom + den & flex homes, SIENA is setting an unprecedented standard of Burnaby Heights living that was inspired by—and blends seamlessly with—the neighbourhood that surrounds it.

Myron Calof, President of I4 Property Group, explains that SIENA was carefully conceived to offer everyone, whether new to Burnaby Heights or a long-time neighbourhood resident seeking a change, a home whose large and small details exceed what we’ve come to expect from condominium living.

“We recognized there are plenty of people living in single-family homes here who want to stay in the Heights area and also want the features that they might see in a single-family home but not typically in a condominium,” says Calof.

“Hence, we thought of ways to make these homes as house-like as possible. We built features like side-by-side laundry with a counter above it for sorting because people living in homes are used to that. We even have laundry rooms in some of our one and two-bedroom homes, a rare find in the condo market. Residents at SIENA want more than a small stacking laundry set with no room to do anything around it except maybe in the hallway.”

Suites at SIENA also boast large kitchens featuring full-sized Bosch appliances; spa-inspired ensuite bathrooms with dual “his and hers” sinks, medicine chests and vanities; central heating and air conditioning; expansive terraces of up to 250 square feet; and much more.

Once outside your suite, the thoughtfulness invested in design continues. Taking cues from the Tuscan city with which it shares a name (and nodding to Burnaby Heights’ generations-spanning Italian community), SIENA’s common-area amenities were created to encourage residents to get together and foster a sense of community.

“Siena, the city, is all about meeting places,” says Calof, “including the Piazzo del Campo and the many outdoor cafes to name just a few. So, in designing SIENA, we’ve included a rooftop deck and barbeque area for residents to enjoy a glass of vino, all the while taking in the great 360° North/South views, and just off the lobby, there’s a community Piazza with a striped-column façade reminiscent of SIENA architecture.”

“And,” Calof excitedly adds, “I don’t think there’s a lobby in all of Burnaby Heights that will compare to ours. People are going to feel the luxury, elegance and sophistication of SIENA from the moment they enter the building.

But life for those who live at SIENA will be about so much more than what goes on indoors. Step out into Burnaby Heights, and you’ll feel part of a historic neighbourhood where residents and merchants alike quickly learn your name and where every essential convenience is a mere steps away.

“It’s a very pedestrian-friendly, walkable kind of neighbourhood,” says Calof. “We have many, many blocks of small and large businesses: restaurants, coffee shops, clothing stores, hairstylists. Safeway is directly across the street from SIENA. And every possible recreational amenity is available at the nearby Eileen Dailly Community Centre… beautiful park space, a track, a pool, and much more. It’s great for families and for anybody who wants to get out of the clutter of a typical urban street and into a more natural green environment. You don’t have to get into a car—you don’t even have to get onto a bicycle!

“All in all, Burnaby Heights is a gem in the overall Metro Vancouver urban scene, and SIENA - the heights puts you right in the heart of it.”

SIENA - the heights is estimated for completion in Spring 2024. For more information and to register, visit sienaburnabyheights.com.
