Lauren Vanderdeen is a reporter for the Burnaby Now, covering city hall and general news. A graduate of Langara College's journalism program, she loves reporting community stories — particularly involving transportation and arts.

Before journalism, Lauren studied Latin and ancient Greek in Halifax, N.S., and later spent time working in Port Moody arts organizations.

An avid TransLink rider, she's easily spotted on the Millennium Line, and can be found walking all over Metro Vancouver. Send her an email anytime.
