BACKGROUND: This south Burnaby riding is bordered by Boundary Road to the west, Imperial and Mayfield streets to the north, Fourth Street to the east, and 10th Avenue and Fraser River to the south.

IN HIS OWN WORDS I’m a computer engineer, have been the CEO of a local tech company for the past 4 years, and now teach part-time at SFU. Previously, I was a professor at UBC.

IN HER OWN WORDS My husband and I have lived in Burnaby North for 20 years. My son and his wife are raising their children here too. I am a lifelong social justice organizer.

IN HIS OWN WORDS Serving Burnaby North for 16 years as MLA; worked closely with volunteer and community groups; advocated for investments in education and health care infrastructure.

BACKGROUND Burnaby North is considered a swing riding, generally a close race between the B.C. Liberals and B.C. NDP.
