With all 58 polls reporting, unofficial results show Burnaby will have three new councillors at the table while the Burnaby Citizens Association will hold the majority.
If the current results hold, there will be two new councillors from the BCA in Maita Santiago and Daniel Tetrault and Richard T. Lee from One Burnaby, a newly created political party.
Unofficial results also show the Burnaby Citizens Association will hold all seven school trustee seats.
Mayor Mike Hurley won by acclamation after no challengers stepped forward for the election.
