What’s there to eat near Brentwood SkyTrain station? Take your pick for brunch, dinner or a quick coffee.

Gram Café and Pancakes

For a pleasant brunch in a bright atmosphere, Gram Café and Pancakes at 4580 Brentwood Blvd. is the place to be. The tiramisu pancake is a chocolate delight, and the classic fluffy pancakes look just as divine.

Sooda Korean BBQ

Just walking into Sooda Korean BBQ at 4455 Lougheed Hwy., and it’s obvious: this is going to be good.

The samgyupsol (pork belly), chadol (beef belly) and the steamed pork dumplings are a delicious mix. Sooda’s soju platter lets you try a variety of flavours like yogurt, apple and citron.

CuppaJoe Coffee Roasters

For a quick bite and coffee, CuppaJoe Coffee Roasters in the Madison Centre near Brentwood (1899 Rosser Ave.) has sweet treats like muffins and croissants and full-flavoured java. A low-key ambience and helpful staff make this a great spot to decompress on the weekend.

Rev’s Bowling Centre

Right near Holdom SkyTrain station, Rev’s Bowling Centre (5502 Lougheed Hwy.) has a restaurant with classic pub fair. Get your bowl on in this old-school bowling alley and fill up with wings, popcorn shrimp and pepperoni nachos.

The Rec Room

Right off Brentwood’s community plaza (1920 Willingdon Ave.) is an arcade and entertainment hot spot, serving “Canadian-inspired cuisine.” Try out tempura jalapenos, a “lumberjack burger,” or the butcher’s daughter pizza.
