Did you know the Burnaby Art Gallery has acquired works by Francisco Goya and Rembrandt van Rijn? The gallery will be showcasing an extensive collection of recently acquired works in a New Acquisitions exhibition, running at the gallery Feb.

They’re keeping the tradition of storytelling alive. Burnaby Public Library’s multicultural, multigenerational Oral Storytelling Circle, which has been successfully running at the Metrotown library branch, is on the move to the McGill branch.

Burnaby is once again making itself felt in the annual Ovation Awards. The awards celebrate the best in musical theatre from the Greater Vancouver region, and nominees for the 2016 edition have just been announced.

Photographs offer a window into new and unusual worlds – and the Burnaby Photographic Society wants to take you on a journey to all those worlds. The society is holding its 20 th annual showcase on Saturday, Feb.
