Photos: Spooky season arrives in Burnaby with massive pumpkin display

More than 6,000 masterly-crafted pumpkins are on display in Burnaby's Central Park until Oct. 31.

Pumpkins here, pumpkins there, pumpkins everywhere.

Pumpkins After Dark officially returned to Burnaby's Central Park for another Halloween season with more than 6,000 hand-carved jack-o-lanterns.

Hundreds of people took advantage of the warm autumn evening to walk along the pumpkin-lined trails on Saturday, Oct. 7. The massive interactive display included themed displays, music and special effects.

The event runs weekly Thursday to Sunday after sunset until Oct. 31.
