Dear Editor: Christy Clark’s predictable approval of KinderMorgan’s pipeline jeopardizes our coast, betrays B.C. interests and makes a mockery of “climate leadership.

Dear Editor: Unlike Mr. Gordon Foy (Letters to the Editor NOW January 20) who stated that “Assessment values aren’t just made up,” we, Brentwood residents for 60 years, checked our B.C. Assessment online.

Chances are most of us have lost someone to cancer, heart disease or a stroke, since those are the three leading causes of death in our general population.

When it comes to B.C. Liberal Premier Christy Clark giving the go-ahead on the five conditions for the Kinder Morgan expansion project, I do not see how the B.C.

Dear Editor Hurrah! Kinder Morgan’s twinned pipeline has won approval from both the federal and provincial government. Typically, Mayor Corrigan comes forward and says he plans to waste more of Burnaby taxpayers’ money trying to stop it.

Dear Editor In the Jan. 13 NOW , there is a letter from Charnjit Singh Bal denigrating B.C. Assessment for the latest home assessments. B.C. Assessment doesn’t just make up random numbers, as the letter writer seems to imply.

It’s always a good time to share stories of good deeds and generosity. As a community news organization, we’re in the fortunate position of hearing about good deeds through the groups we cover and our readers.

For a party that has a razor thin margin of error if it expects to win the upcoming election, the NDP can't be happy about a number of developments in recent days.

So if we have this right, Premier Christy Clark said the Kinder Morgan pipeline would not be approved by the province unless it met five conditions. Although Clark also said the province was not able to block the project.
