Nestled in the middle of shops and restaurants, and directly on the path for commuters coming from the SkyTrain station, TD's new branch in The Amazing Brentwood (also known as Brentwood Town Centre) is a small but mighty addition to the exciting development project in North Burnaby.

"From its suburban origins, Brentwood has really transformed into more of an urban centre against the breathtaking backdrop of the surrounding mountains and forest," says Bruce Gray, district vice president, Burnaby and Tri-Cities, TD. "And so, our new branch plays on the idea of the urban forest, to help reflect and bring together both the urban and natural environment that can be found in the City of Burnaby."

The Brentwood neighbourhood is undergoing a massive redevelopment, with the new TD Advice Centre branch front and centre among what is expected to become a bustling hub of homes, retail spaces and workplaces, right on the transit path.

To bring to life the experience of exploring a natural forest in an urban environment, the design team behind the TD Brentwood Advice Centre thoughtfully incorporated organic forms, warm colours and wood that bring a sense of movement throughout the space.

"Upon walking into the branch, customers enter an open concept lobby, furnished with rich wood and beautiful imagery that connects with our customers and community," Gray says.

Opening its doors just over a year ago, and being a smaller branch measuring just under 3000 square feet, the TD Brentwood Advice Centre focuses on financial advice appointments, while still providing service for traditional banking transactions.

The Advice Centre is part of the broader investment TD is making in its branches across its network that aims to provide modern convenience and thoughtful design that reflects their respective community, all while providing a comfortable setting for advice conversations.

"While we continue to focus on offering our customers digital tools to do their banking with us, including virtual appointments, the opening of the TD Advice Centre in Brentwood is a clear example of TD's commitment to this community," says Andy Cribb, senior vice president, Branch Banking, TD Pacific Region. "We are proud of the TD Advice Centre in Brentwood and to be part of the neighbourhood's exciting evolution."
