Volunteers at Confederation Seniors Centre are helping keep others warm this winter.

As I entered the crowded restaurant, I immediately noticed one round table that stood out from the others. My kids were sitting with their cousins around that table, each with head bowed over folded hands and appearing to be in solemn prayer.

Question: In 1991we moved into our house (built in 1935), and with it came a rose that is looking quite pitiful right now. I love its fragrant flowers, but I am afraid to prune it so I don't kill it and therefore lose it forever.
