Burnaby senior hit by bus near Lougheed Town Centre dies

A 78-year-old Burnaby man hit by a transit bus on Nov. 23 has died. According to Cpl. Dave Reid of the Burnaby RCMP, the man was crossing Austin Avenue southbound near Gatineau Place at approximately 9:30 a.m. when he was struck by the bus.
