The Simon Fraser University women's basketball team received a commitment from Michelle Spacek from Riverside Secondary School to join the Clan this fall.

The Simon Fraser University men's basketball team added guard Matt Staudacher from Lake Washington High School to its varsity lineup. Staudacher averaged 15.5 points per game in his senior year while adding 5.5 rebounds and 7.
