Inside the lines, the Moscrop Panthers are eager to prove how they measure up. Beyond the court’s lines, they already have.

The Burnaby Wildcats are easy to spot this weekend. The minor hockey group – part of the Burnaby Minor Hockey Association – is hosting its 12th annual Remembrance Day tournament at Burnaby 8-Rinks.

An odd duck may have been the centre of attention on the local pond, but a pair of different opportunities are going to make Burnaby Lake a noisy hub for rowing in the coming days. You might catch a glimpse of a rare Mandarin duck.

They’re far from a chain gang, but the Moscrop senior girls Panthers are all about the work. And whether they’ve heard the Sam Cooke song, Working on a Chain Gang, they seem to know the rhythm.
