I am a middle-aged Canadian widow, and through the pandemic I realized just how easy it is to take up lawn and change it into garden and wildflower space.
Can we please petition local municipalities to encourage and incentivize homeowners to replace lawns with sustainable surfaces? It's a small thing but such a great start to getting more people touching the earth and understanding its abundance if properly cared for.
