Now the juggling begins as Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has named his new cabinet at a ceremony Nov. 20 at Rideau Hall in Ottawa.

Editor: I applaud the efforts of Mayor Mike Hurley and Coun. Joe Keithley in steering this city council toward more humane treatment of the renters that remain in the Metrotown area.

It’s difficult to see in my crappy photo above, but there is a “free” sign on this couch. The couch is beat up and no sane human being would want this dirty piece of garbage in their home so saying it’s “free” isn’t sweetening the deal.

Let me be clear from the start about this blog post – it’s not designed to criticize how much money municipal politicians earn. I believe in a good wage for civic politicians because it’s a tough, demanding and important job.

Editor: I am really upset today. I was on the 130 bus from Metrotown going towards Hastings and a person on the bus was so disrespectful. The bus was full and the driver was doing her best.

It likely won’t explain why every gas station in town raises and lowers their prices at the same time. It certainly won’t explain why every hike comes when your tank is empty, and every price drop comes after you’ve filled up.

Watch the video below and try to not get angry. I bet you can’t do it. I couldn’t. I watched a driver slam their vehicle into another on a quiet North Burnaby street and then drive away and I wanted to hurt something.
