To usher in the 2020 Lunar New Year, Metropolis at Metrotown will be hosting over two weeks of family-friendly festivities along with a popular Instagram-worthy lantern display.

Chinese New Year begins this Saturday and festive gatherings marking the occasion will continue until the next full moon. Enjoying foods said to bring good fortune is an important part of the celebration.

One of the first things I do after the holiday season is to head to my local floral supplier and purchase fresh flowers to brighten up the house. After the holiday decorations are taken down, the home can feel quite bare and empty.
