Keep your dogs safe this summer

Summer is the time to enjoy beaches, picnics and outdoor sports with your four-legged family members, but high temperatures can put dogs at risk. Dogs are susceptible to heat stroke because they cannot cool themselves as effectively as humans.

City eyes Bonsor plan

The City of Burnaby is looking at the best use for 3,340 square feet of space in the Bonsor Recreation Complex. The space is currently occupied by the Bonsor Seniors Centre, which is relocating to the Centre for Older Adults being built nearby.

Sales slip in summer

Home sales in Burnaby have trended down slightly since the summer started but have remained fairly stable overall, says an economist with the B.C. Real Estate Association.
