The month of March has been good to Burnaby's Jasmine Manhas. Manhas ended her second appearance at a B.C. championship tournament with a gold medal in the midget A women's hockey championships in Richmond on March 20.

Burnaby Winter Club product Landon Ferraro tallied his 19th goal of the season for the Grand Rapids Griffins in a 4-3 shootout loss to the Lake Erie Monsters in American Hockey League play on March 22. Ferraro was named the game's second star.
