Public engagement results have been released about theproposed gondola between the Millennium Line and the SFU campus on Burnaby Mountain.

If you read the above headline and thought I meant happy hour drinks, you will be disappointed. I don’t drink alcohol (unless I’m in Vegas, baby) and so I’m not writing about that today.

I love cooking TV shows. More specifically, I love competitive cooking shows. Chopped is everything and my absolutely favourite, but a new TV show is creeping into my culinary heart.

People have been generally behaving in restaurants in Burnaby and beyond, which is why Dr. Bonnie Henry hasn’t shut them down - yet.

Something I’ve learned throughout the pandemic is that the COVID-19 deniers will seize on any mistake or change in messaging to confirm their tinfoil-hat conspiracies.

Over the past 10 or 15 years, much has been done by many people to help tell the story of the Korean War. This war, like all others, was a terrible event which took such a heavy toll of human lives both civilian and military.

The completed U.S. election served as a reminder of how much healthier the political discourse is in this province.

Burnaby has long been a desert when it comes to Mexican food. This is something I’ve complained about before, mainly because it doesn’t make sense that such delicious and amazing food can be so absent in a city as big as Burnaby.

I’m happy right now, but confused. The City of Burnaby did something totally awesome, but I don’t know how it happened.
