You’ve probably heard about contact tracing and how vital it is to helping stop the spread of COVID-19.

Two recent arrests by the Burnaby RCMP are showing once again that many criminals are dumb and that the need for a good night’s sleep is important.

Editor: Mike Hurley, the mayor of Burnaby, is doing quite a good job constructing new bike lanes and sidewalks around Lake City and Broadway, which will make the area much safer for bikers and pedestrians.

Fresh off last weekend’s disgraceful “freedom” rally in Vancouver, I have been inundated with another batch of COVID-19 truther emails. One was from “Roger in Burnaby” who emailed a list of health conditions that kill more people than COVID-19.

First, it was divas refusing to pay their restaurant bills because of some picky little criticism.

Lisa wants to be careful about this. She doesn’t want to get her dad fired, but she wants people to know about how many workers are being treated by their employers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“They’re an angel and a devil all at once.” That’s what the owner of a medium-sized Burnaby restaurant told me a couple of weeks ago about the food delivery apps they were forced to team up with during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Score one for road justice. Fresh off my column about the return of many ratrunners to Burnaby roads, I’ve received some responses from city residents sharing their tales of woe.
