Editor: On Friday, (Burnaby North-Seymour Liberal MP) Terry Beech sent me a postcard.

Editor: Are you sure Jagmeet Singh is a politician? He is charming, real, and intelligent; not to mention fit. He looks like the buff Aquaman Jason Momoa with his hair down. Even Drake and Rihanna are among his followers on social media.

As you watch (hopefully on Global!) the election returns on Oct. 21, it may be worth remembering how the last B.C. provincial election unfolded and the lessons learned from the eventual result.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had to wear a bulletproof vest at a campaign rally and some people think it’s funny. It is not funny. You shouldn’t think it’s funny either, no matter what political stripe you are.

Editor: Re: Burnaby RCMP nailed a bunch of ‘jaywalkers’. But should they? NOW Opinion, Oct. 2 I was surprised to see that Burnaby NOW thinks that it is a waste of law enforcement's resources when they look for jaywalkers to ticket.

The biggest problem with fine dining is that sometimes you finish a really expensive meal and are still hungry. So you stop off for pizza on the way home. My friend refuses to go to fine dining places with me because of that.

Let me state up top and clearly that this column is not meant to criticize the Burnaby council members who voted to grant $1 million to help buy a second CT scanner for Burnaby Hospital.
