Editor: As we here in Burnaby enter Stage 2 drought restrictions, why do I continue to see lovely green sports fields being pounded by multiple water jets?
The rest of us have brown lawns and face criticism or potential fines if our lawns even hint at being green.
Can someone explain to me why athletes can’t play on brown, dried-out surfaces like the rest of us?
