Lost in all the cries of “freedom” from manbabies about requests to wear masks in Burnaby – especially inside – is a more nuanced discussion about why they should be worn.

The City of Burnaby is boosting funding to accelerate the construction of new sidewalks in the coming years. And I have the perfect place to start (aside from Marine Driver in South Burnaby, which is terrible).

Richard Campbell is happy. The cycling advocate is so happy he’s using exclamation marks to show his support for some road infrastructure changes in North Burnaby.

In response to a recent article I wrote about going out in Burnaby for a sit-down meal, a few readers said they will only do it if it’s outdoors on a patio. Well, I see that point.

If there is one topic that Burnaby residents definitely worry about, it’s traffic. I know because I’ve seen how much stories about traffic issues get read. Well, I have a doozy for you.

To Anders Lau, cycling can be dangerous enough through the streets of Burnaby. But selfish drivers are making things worse in a city woefully short on safe cycling infrascture.

Cineplex Inc. – which operates a theatre in Burnaby’s Metropolis at Metrotown - says it's sticking with COVID-19 safety policies that leave it up to moviegoers to decide if they wear a face mask inside their theatres.
