A Burnaby homeowner emailed me upset about his property taxes. That’s not unusual. People always seem angry about their property taxes. I’m including what he sent me because tax calculations are complicated.

Roberta LaQuaglia is talking to me on the phone about how she wants to make an ice cream that is loaded with bits of cookies and I swear I started to feel faint. That’s how I get when I think about ice cream – a little woozy. I love it that much.

When it comes to driving, you can be the best driver in the world as far as your technique goes. But if your vehicle is a piece of garbage, you’re still a menace to society.

The Editor, When the peaceful protesters were attacked with batons, tear gas and rubber bullets the day after the killing of George Floyd , the stage was set for the nationwide protests to follow.

Kudos to Adrian Dix for the Ministry of Health’s February announcement that it was cancelling the Delta Hospice Society’s lease, allowing Fraser Health to take control of Irene Thomas Hospice next February.
