Oh boy, here we go again. I got anxiety last year when a mega-jackpot lottery ticket had gone unclaimed for an extended period of time. It was eventually claimed, but it kept me awake at night wondering if someone had lost the ticket.

The monthly Burnaby RCMP crime bulletin has arrived and it has some revealing things about a certain neighbourhood. The bulletin always include several maps showing where break-and-enters and vehicle-related thefts are taking place.

A Burnaby landlord has apparently had enough with a “neighbour war” plaguing one local apartment building. I don’t blame them.

The B.C. legislature is set to resume sitting mid-June. Right now, the legislature is a fairly barren place. The offices that remain open have few staff and it remains closed to the public.

Editor: As a cyclist and a driver, I am shocked at the lack of good driving habits in Burnaby.

Two big questions face Burnaby restaurants as phase two of B.C.’s Restart Plan unfolds. How can restaurants reassure diners that all precautions are being taken? And are there enough people ready to have a sit-down mean in a restaurant.
