Dear Editor: Looking back at the last provincial election, it seems pretty clear that people were willing to take a chance on Premier Christy Clark's promise of a debt-free B.C.

Unions were formed during the very hardest of times; child labour, no time off, no protection from deadly job hazards, pay that couldn't keep one person fed - let alone a whole family.

There's nothing quite like a Fraser Institute report on anything parenting related to get folks in B.C. huffing in indignation or chuckling in bemusement.
