Dozen bands set to perform on three stages at Blues Fest

The countdown is on for the 14th annual Burnaby Blues and Roots Festival, with just under four months to go till the gates open. This year's festival is set for Saturday, Aug. 10 from 1 to 10 p.m. at Deer Lake Park.

A new business in Burnaby Heights has been broken into within two weeks of opening. The owners of Chez Christophe Chocolaterie Patisserie, which opened on March 12, came to the store this morning to find they had been broken into overnight.
