Houston, we have a consensus. Well, almost. All three parties in the B.C. legislature now support a ban on corporate and union donations, as well as setting a cap on personal contributions. It's that last one that gets tricky.

We have a dream.

The stark urban/rural divide that has cleaved its way onto our provincial electoral map may be about to play a pivotal role in shaping the outcome of any attempt to change our voting system.

Dear Editor: Monday night’s council meeting told it all. This was my first attendance at a Burnaby city council meeting.

On Monday evening I attended a meeting of Burnaby city council, as I wanted to show support for the delegation of the Burnaby Arts Council, who were questioning the city’s position on the need for a new art gallery.
